For merchants primarily concerned with website accessibility compliance and catering to users with disabilities, Accessibility Enabler AW is the clearly superior choice. Its focus on WCAG 2.1, EAA, and ADA, coupled with its extensive accessibility options, make it a suitable option. The higher number of reviews gives more confidence in the apps effectiveness.
RuffRuff Product & Blog Tags serves a different purpose, and is suitable for merchants wanting to improve product and blog post findability, it is only compatible with Online Store 2.0 themes. While it has a perfect rating, the low review count makes it more difficult to assess its long-term performance. The better choice depends entirely on whether the primary goal is accessibility compliance or improved site navigation and search.
