Free checklist & auditGet the free BFCM checklist & auditPrice Parrot - Price Matching is a popular app for automatically repricing products based on competitor pricing. However, by 2026, a merchant's needs might have evolved, leading them to seek alternatives. Common reasons for switching include the need for more comprehensive discount management beyond price matching, a desire for a simpler user interface, or the need to integrate pricing strategies with other marketing efforts like flash sales or customer segmentation. Some merchants may also find Price Parrot's focus too narrow and desire tools that offer broader A/B testing or customer verification options.
Stop losing sales to cheaper competitors. Track prices and reprice automatically.
Verify all registered customers and allow or disallow them to see prices and "add to cart" buttons
Singleton | Verify Customers lets you control which customers see prices and "add to cart" buttons. This isn't direct price matching but could be useful if you have tiered pricing or need to restrict access for certain customer groups.
Best for merchants who need to control customer access to pricing information.

GetSale Bulk Discounts App provides a robust alternative for merchants focused on bulk discounts and sales management. It offers percentage and fixed discounts, scheduled sales with automatic price reversion, and a sale countdown timer to create urgency.
Ideal for stores that run frequent sales and need bulk discount management capabilities.
While DPO Dynamic Product Options could be an app you consider, it does not offer similar features to Price Parrot - Price Matching. It may not be a viable alternative based on your needs.
Best for stores that need dynamic product options.
Flash sale & discounts manager: schedule sales, auto price change, show sale price & build urgency.
Rockit Discounts & Sales App is a strong alternative if you want more control over sales and discounts beyond automated price matching. It offers bulk price editing, scheduled sales, and various discount types (percentage, fixed, line item), along with display options like sale badges and countdown timers.
Best for merchants who need comprehensive discount and flash sale management.

Quick Quote facilitates custom quote requests from customers, allowing you to offer personalized pricing and discounts. This is suitable if you handle large or complex orders where price matching isn't sufficient.
Best for merchants who handle custom orders and require a quote request system.
All-in-one AB testing: optimize prices, shipping, themes, content and more to maximize store profit!
Elevate A/B Testing Price Test offers a broader approach than just price matching by allowing you to A/B test different prices to optimize revenue. You can also test shipping rates, themes, and content, providing a more holistic optimization strategy.
Ideal for stores that want to optimize pricing and other factors through A/B testing.
Allow customer try samples before buy!
Product Samples by Luke does not offer price matching capabilities but allows customers to order product samples at a lower price or for free. If your business model involves sampling, you may find it useful for increasing customer confidence and reducing returns.
Best for stores that offer product samples and want to facilitate sample ordering.
Create automatic or code-based discounts with advanced options. Motivate customers to buy more.
Singleton | Advanced Discounts provides versatile discount options, including volume discounts, customer-specific discounts, and scheduled discounts. This could be a good alternative if you want to offer targeted discounts based on various criteria.
Ideal for stores that need flexible discount options based on customer segments or purchase volume.
Similar to Quick Quote, YouQuote: Request a Quote Form enables customers to request quotes, allowing for customized pricing and negotiation. If Price Parrot doesn't offer the necessary flexibility for individualized pricing, this could be a good option.
Best for merchants who require a system for handling custom quote requests and personalized pricing.
Show VAT Included and VAT Excluded prices together with products for B2B customer clarity
Enhance: VAT Dual Prices B2B is useful if you cater to both B2B and B2C customers, allowing you to display prices with and without VAT. It does not directly compete with Price Parrot - Price Matching, it does help display prices more accurately for your customer base.
Best for merchants selling to both B2B and B2C customers and needing to display VAT inclusive and exclusive prices.
