Free checklist & auditGet the free BFCM checklist & auditSerializer ‑ Product Tracking is a valuable app for merchants needing to track individual items with serial numbers and custom fields. However, some merchants might find its feature set too focused, or seek a more integrated solution as their business evolves. Others might require functionality not directly addressed by Serializer, such as advanced shipping label creation or automated PayPal tracking. The limited number of reviews, while all positive, may also prompt some merchants to explore alternatives with more extensive user feedback. As of 2026, the Shopify app ecosystem has matured, providing a range of options with varying strengths.
