1Click Referral Program vs Adoric Popup & Email Popupsfor Shopify (2026)
1Click Referral Program and Adoric Popup & Email Popups both aim to boost sales for Shopify merchants, but they achieve this through entirely different approaches. 1Click Referral focuses on leveraging word-of-mouth marketing by enabling merchants to create automated referral programs. It incentivizes existing customers to become brand advocates by offering rewards for successful referrals. Its primary strength lies in its simplicity and focus on organic growth through customer referrals, appealing to merchants seeking a low-cost, high-trust customer acquisition strategy. Adoric, on the other hand, concentrates on improving conversion rates and Average Order Value (AOV) through popups, email collection, and upselling/cross-selling techniques. It offers a broader range of features beyond just discounts, including cart recommendations, free shipping bars, and even gamified experiences like spin-the-wheel popups. This app caters to merchants who prioritize immediate gains through optimized on-site engagement and targeted promotional offers. The main distinction lies in their methodologies: referral-based growth versus conversion rate optimization and direct upselling.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on fostering customer loyalty and leveraging word-of-mouth marketing to drive sales through a referral program, 1Click Referral Program is the clear choice. Its simplicity and focus on organic growth make it ideal for businesses seeking sustainable, long-term results. However, the lower review count raises some concern about how well it will work for all merchants.
On the other hand, if your primary goal is to quickly improve conversion rates, grow your email list, and increase AOV through strategic popups and on-site promotions, Adoric Popup & Email Popups is the better option. Its wider range of features and higher review count suggest a more robust and versatile solution for immediate sales optimization. If you need to convert website visitors into paying customers then Adoric Popup & Email Popups is the better choice.
