506 EasyScan SKU & Barcode vs Notim: Back In Stock+Notify Mefor Shopify (2026)
506 EasyScan SKU & Barcode and Notim: Back In Stock+Notify Me cater to different aspects of inventory management. EasyScan focuses on the operational side of inventory, providing tools for barcode generation, scanning, order fulfillment, and warehouse management. It aims to streamline processes within the warehouse and fulfillment center. In contrast, Notim addresses lost sales due to stockouts by offering back-in-stock notifications, focusing on customer retention and revenue recovery. EasyScan empowers merchants with tools to manage their physical inventory flow – creating SKUs, generating barcodes, scanning during picking and packing, and printing labels. Notim helps capture demand for out-of-stock products by enabling customers to sign up for restock alerts, preventing potential lost sales and providing valuable data on product demand. While both apps touch on inventory, their core focus differs significantly. EasyScan's strengths lie in its comprehensive feature set for managing physical inventory operations. Notim excels at recovering sales lost due to stockouts and providing customer-centric notifications. Small merchants without dedicated warehouses may find Notim useful while those with larger inventories needing operational control may prefer EasyScan.

Our Verdict
For merchants struggling with inventory management in their warehouse or fulfillment center and needing tools for barcode scanning, SKU generation, and efficient order processing, 506 EasyScan SKU & Barcode is the superior choice. Its comprehensive feature set streamlines physical inventory management and reduces errors. The high rating and numerous reviews suggest a positive user experience.
However, for merchants primarily concerned with losing sales due to stockouts and seeking a simple way to capture customer demand and automatically notify them of restocks, Notim: Back In Stock+Notify Me is more suitable. While its rating is slightly lower, its focus on restock notifications addresses a specific need not covered by EasyScan. It’s ideal for stores that frequently experience stockouts and value customer communication.
