506 GetSale Bulk Discounts App vs ABsolutely: A/B Test Pricesfor Shopify (2026)
506 GetSale Bulk Discounts App and ABsolutely: A/B Test Prices both operate in the 'Pricing' and 'Pricing optimization' categories on Shopify, but cater to very different needs. 506 GetSale is focused on implementing and managing bulk discounts and sales events. Its strength lies in its robust scheduling, automated price adjustments, and ability to manage large-scale promotional campaigns. It targets merchants looking to quickly and efficiently implement sales strategies. ABsolutely, on the other hand, centers on data-driven price optimization through A/B testing. It emphasizes identifying the ideal pricing point to maximize profit, particularly by understanding customer price sensitivity across various traffic sources. The key difference lies in their approach. 506 GetSale is proactive and operational, helping merchants *execute* pre-determined discount strategies. ABsolutely is reactive and analytical, helping merchants *discover* the most profitable pricing. 506 GetSale appeals to merchants who have a sales plan and need tools for implementation, while ABsolutely appeals to those who want to leverage data to fine-tune their pricing and are comfortable experimenting. The large difference in review count and average rating also suggests 506 GetSale is a much more mature and widely adopted app, though ABsolutely may be better suited for niche use cases.

Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing quick and efficient sales implementation, scheduling discounts, and running large-scale promotions, 506 GetSale Bulk Discounts App is the clear winner. Its automated features and focus on execution are invaluable for managing promotional campaigns. The higher rating and vastly larger number of reviews suggest a more polished and trusted solution.
However, if a merchant is less concerned with rapidly deploying sales and more interested in scientifically optimizing pricing based on customer behavior, ABsolutely: A/B Test Prices provides a valuable service. While it has fewer reviews, its A/B testing capabilities allow for data-driven decision making, potentially leading to higher long-term profitability, particularly in scenarios with established traffic and a need for pricing refinements.
