506 GetSale Bulk Discounts App vs BOLD Discounts ‑ Flash Salesfor Shopify (2026)
The 506 GetSale Bulk Discounts App and BOLD Discounts ‑ Flash Sales both aim to help Shopify merchants boost sales through discounts and promotions, but they cater to slightly different needs. 506 GetSale focuses on precise control over pricing, offering a bulk editor for detailed discount application and scheduling, including the ability to exclude specific collections. Its strength lies in its granularity and potentially easier management of complex pricing strategies. On the other hand, BOLD Discounts emphasizes speed and simplicity, particularly for flash sales and Black Friday promotions. It prioritizes ease of use and offers features like one-click store-wide discounts and prominent countdown timers to create a sense of urgency. BOLD Discount's focus seems to be more directed at merchants running short, impactful sales events, particularly on a larger scale as the name suggests. 506 GetSale seems geared to merchants looking for more granular control and the ability to schedule long term sales events with more precision. The ratings and reviews reflect this difference in focus, with 506 GetSale having a higher rating, but BOLD Discounts having significantly more reviews, suggesting broader, possibly less-satisfied adoption.

Our Verdict
For merchants who require fine-grained control over their pricing strategy, need to apply different discount percentages to various products and collections, and require the ability to schedule complex sales, the 506 GetSale Bulk Discounts App is the better choice. Its bulk editor and automatic tagging provide the necessary tools for managing detailed pricing rules. However, merchants who want a quick and easy way to run flash sales, particularly for events like Black Friday, and prioritize speed and simplicity will find BOLD Discounts ‑ Flash Sales to be more suitable. Its focus on store-wide discounts and prominent countdown timers is geared towards driving immediate sales.
The higher rating of 506 GetSale suggests it delivers on its promise of granular control and reliable functionality, which may appeal to merchants who prioritize stability and detailed configuration. While BOLD Discounts has more reviews, suggesting broader adoption, the lower rating suggests more merchants have found limitations or usability issues with that app. Therefore, the merchant's priority of either flexibility or simplicity should heavily influence their decision.
