506 GetSale Bulk Discounts App vs Bulk Discounts Now WODfor Shopify (2026)
506 GetSale Bulk Discounts App and Bulk Discounts Now WOD both aim to help Shopify merchants implement bulk discounts, but they approach it differently. GetSale focuses on scheduled sales events with automatic price adjustments and product tagging for discount management, targeting merchants who frequently run promotional sales and need to automate the process. Bulk Discounts Now WOD positions itself as a more versatile, all-in-one tool for implementing tiered pricing, bulk discount codes, and quantity breaks across collections, aiming at merchants who want to offer more complex and persistent discount structures beyond simple sales. One noticeable differentiator is GetSale's focus on scheduled sales events with countdown timers, a feature absent in Bulk Discounts Now WOD's description. Conversely, Bulk Discounts Now WOD explicitly mentions compatibility with AJAX carts and Shopify's currency converter, addressing potential concerns for a wider range of storefronts.

Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing streamlined sales events with automated scheduling and the addition of urgency via countdown timers, 506 GetSale Bulk Discounts App appears to be the better choice. Its automatic tagging feature also simplifies product management during sales. However, merchants seeking more versatile, ongoing discount options like tiered pricing and quantity breaks, especially those utilizing AJAX carts and Shopify's native currency converter, will likely find Bulk Discounts Now WOD more suitable. The lower rating of Bulk Discounts Now WOD might suggest a slightly steeper learning curve or less polished interface, but the compatibility features and breadth of discount options could outweigh this for many merchants.
