506 GetSale Bulk Discounts App vs MultiPrice: Custom POS Pricingfor Shopify (2026)
506 GetSale Bulk Discounts App and MultiPrice: Custom POS Pricing both address pricing strategies on Shopify, but target fundamentally different needs. 506 GetSale is designed for merchants seeking to implement bulk discounts and scheduled sales promotions across their online store. It provides tools to manage pricing changes, schedule sales events with countdown timers, and tag products for targeted discounts. Its strength lies in its robust bulk editing and sales automation features. MultiPrice, conversely, is specifically tailored for merchants with both online and physical POS locations. Its core function is to enable different pricing strategies between the online store and POS locations, accommodating varied operational costs or local market conditions. The primary distinction lies in their focus. 506 GetSale optimizes for promotional sales events and widespread price changes, aiming to boost online revenue through discounts. MultiPrice focuses on addressing the needs of omnichannel merchants who require differentiated pricing between their online and offline sales channels. While 506 GetSale supports percentage-based and fixed discounts, MultiPrice's value proposition centers around separate, absolute price controls for online and POS locations, without relying on discount workarounds.

Our Verdict
If your primary goal is to run frequent sales promotions, offer bulk discounts, and incentivize purchases with countdown timers, 506 GetSale Bulk Discounts App is the clear choice. Its high rating and significant number of reviews suggest strong user satisfaction. Its features are specifically designed for boosting online sales through promotional pricing. However, take the 'Likely Moderately Complex' note seriously - there are a *lot* of features here to learn.
For merchants operating both an online store and a physical POS location and needing different price points for each, MultiPrice: Custom POS Pricing is the better option. It directly addresses the need for separate pricing strategies without relying on discount workarounds. Despite the low number of reviews, the app fills a very specific need that 506 GetSale doesn't. MultiPrice is also useful if you have Shopify Basic, because it specifically claims to work without Shopify Plus.
