506 GetSale Bulk Discounts App vs PricePitch: Offers & Closefor Shopify (2026)
506 GetSale Bulk Discounts App and PricePitch: Offers & Close both address pricing strategies for Shopify merchants, but they operate in fundamentally different ways. 506 GetSale focuses on automated, scheduled bulk discounts to drive sales through limited-time offers and percentage-based price reductions. It targets merchants who want to efficiently manage discounts across their product catalog and automate promotional pricing. PricePitch, on the other hand, empowers customers to negotiate prices, offering a dynamic and engaging pricing experience. It's designed for merchants who value customer interaction and are open to negotiated pricing to increase conversions. The key difference lies in the control and approach to pricing. 506 GetSale gives the merchant complete control over discount rules and scheduling, automating the process of applying and removing sales prices. PricePitch relinquishes some control, allowing customers to propose prices, requiring the merchant to evaluate and respond (or set up automatic rules for acceptance). This leads to a more individualized and interactive shopping experience but demands more active management, especially in the absence of extensive automated rules. The target audiences are significantly different, with 506 GetSale catering to merchants prioritizing efficiency and large-scale promotions, while PricePitch suits businesses emphasizing customer engagement and flexible pricing strategies.

Our Verdict
For merchants aiming for high-volume sales through strategically scheduled promotions and efficient discount management, 506 GetSale Bulk Discounts App is the superior choice. Its automated features and bulk editing capabilities make it ideal for handling large product catalogs and running impactful sales campaigns. However, if a merchant's priority is to foster customer engagement, build relationships through negotiation, and experiment with dynamic pricing, PricePitch: Offers & Close is a better fit. The latter requires a more hands-on approach but offers the potential for higher conversions through personalized pricing. Note that the stark difference in review count should be considered when evaluating the reliability and support quality of each app.
Common Questions
Can I use both apps simultaneously?
While technically possible, using both apps simultaneously could lead to pricing conflicts and customer confusion. It's generally recommended to choose one pricing strategy and stick with it.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
506 GetSale Bulk Discounts App likely has a steeper initial learning curve due to its bulk editing features and scheduling options. PricePitch, with its focus on individual product pricing and customer interaction, might be simpler to set up for a smaller product catalog.
Which app is better for a new Shopify store?
For a new store, 506 GetSale might be a better starting point for quickly implementing basic discounts and promotions to drive initial sales. Once a customer base is established, PricePitch could be introduced to experiment with engagement strategies.
Does either app offer analytics or reporting?
The provided descriptions do not explicitly mention analytics or reporting features for either app. Further research would be needed to confirm this information, potentially from the apps' websites or detailed documentation.
Which app is more likely to increase average order value (AOV)?
506 GetSale, with its bulk discount capabilities, could encourage customers to purchase more items to take advantage of the discounts. PricePitch might increase AOV on individual items if customers are willing to pay more than the original price through negotiation, but this is less predictable.
