506 GetSale Bulk Discounts App vs PriUnit : Price Per Unitfor Shopify (2026)
The 506 GetSale Bulk Discounts App and PriUnit : Price Per Unit both aim to optimize pricing on Shopify, but they cater to drastically different merchant needs. 506 GetSale is designed for general e-commerce stores looking to implement bulk discounts, scheduled sales, and promotional offers to drive sales. It focuses on discounting existing products using percentages, fixed amounts, and scheduling mechanisms. PriUnit, on the other hand, addresses the niche market of merchants selling products by weight, volume, or length, such as grocery stores, butchers, and fabric shops. PriUnit focuses on accurate unit pricing for variable quantities. It allows customers to purchase precise amounts (e.g., 1.5kg of apples) without creating cumbersome product variants. 506 GetSale does not directly handle unit-based sales, focusing instead on markdown promotions. Merchants needing to sell and display prices based on units of measure will find PriUnit more valuable, while those seeking general discount management should look at 506 GetSale.
