Our Verdict
If a merchant primarily needs to manage straightforward percentage discounts across a large product catalog and schedule sales events, 506 GetSale Bulk Discounts App is likely the better choice due to its bulk editing capabilities, scheduling features, and higher number of positive reviews. The countdown timer feature could also be beneficial for driving urgency. However, if a merchant requires more advanced discount types such as mix-and-match or tiered pricing, along with seamless inventory management and potential POS integration, Simple Discounts provides more specialized tools. While it has fewer reviews, its no-code approach and focus on instant discounts make it particularly suitable for those with headless setups or complex promotional strategies. Therefore, Simple Discounts will best suit the needs of merchants with complex discount needs.
