Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants aiming for full ADA, WCAG, and EAA compliance and requiring a comprehensive suite of accessibility tools, A11yPro seems the better choice. It offers a broader range of features and promises ongoing monitoring and certification. However, merchants primarily concerned with improving image accessibility and SEO, and who prefer a hands-off, automated solution, will likely find Describerry - Image ALT Texts more suitable. The limited number of reviews for both apps should be considered. The 'developer-friendly custom triggers' of A11yPro implies that it may be less suitable for store owners without technical expertise.
