AAA Wishlist App vs Swish (formerly Wishlist King)for Shopify (2026)
AAA Wishlist App and Swish (formerly Wishlist King) both aim to provide wishlist functionality for Shopify stores, but they target different segments of the market. AAA Wishlist App presents itself as a basic, straightforward solution with core features like unlimited wishlists, wishlist renaming, and product option preservation. However, its extremely low rating and minimal reviews raise serious concerns about its reliability and user experience. Swish, on the other hand, positions itself as a feature-rich and highly customizable solution designed for ambitious brands seeking to drive customer engagement and boost revenue. Its high rating and substantial number of reviews suggest a well-received and robust app. Swish offers advanced features beyond basic wishlist functionality, including advanced analytics, seamless theme integration, and integrations with marketing platforms like Klaviyo, GA4, and Meta. It prioritizes a personalized and automated user experience through wishlist notifications and offers free setup and customization. AAA Wishlist App primarily focuses on letting customers create wishlists, save products, and share them via email, with limited mention of advanced features or marketing integrations. Therefore, the target audience and value propositions of the two apps significantly diverge.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a simple, free, or very low-cost wishlist app with minimal features, AAA Wishlist App might seem appealing initially. However, the extremely low rating and scarce reviews should raise a significant red flag. Given the limited information available, it's difficult to recommend this app for any serious business.
Swish (formerly Wishlist King) is the clear choice for merchants looking for a robust, feature-rich wishlist solution. Its high rating, large number of reviews, advanced features like analytics and marketing integrations, and free setup and customization service make it a more reliable and valuable investment for businesses aiming to improve customer engagement and drive sales. It is especially well-suited for businesses that are already using tools such as Klaviyo, GA4, and Meta to drive marketing efforts. It is unlikely the slightly higher cost for the app would be an issue due to the sales increases from Wishlist use.
Common Questions
What is the biggest difference between AAA Wishlist App and Swish (formerly Wishlist King)?
The biggest difference is the level of features and customer satisfaction. Swish offers advanced analytics, marketing integrations, and a dedicated setup service, resulting in a much higher rating and more positive reviews, whereas AAA Wishlist App provides only basic wishlist features and suffers from a poor rating.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Swish likely offers an easier setup experience due to its free setup and customization service. While AAA Wishlist App might seem simpler, the lack of reviews makes it difficult to confirm its ease of use. Swish’s integration support points to a more seamless experience for merchants.
Which app is better for a store that wants to integrate with Klaviyo?
Swish (formerly Wishlist King) is the definite choice for stores seeking Klaviyo integration. AAA Wishlist App only mentions email sharing and lacks native integrations with marketing platforms like Klaviyo.
Which app is the better value for the money?
Swish offers better value for the money, despite potentially having a higher price point, due to its advanced features, positive reviews, and free setup service. AAA Wishlist App's low rating makes it a risky investment, even if it's cheaper.
Which app is best for a dropshipping store?
Swish is also likely a better fit for a dropshipping store, even though neither mentions it. Dropshipping stores may see more use from marketing integrations, theme customization, and analytics features. AAA Wishlist App only contains extremely basic capabilities, which are unlikely to meet a dropshipping store's needs.
