A/B: Product and Price Testing vs Axonfor Shopify (2026)
A/B: Product and Price Testing and Axon serve drastically different purposes for Shopify merchants. A/B: Product and Price Testing focuses on optimizing the existing website for higher conversion rates through A/B testing of product pages, pricing, and other elements. It positions itself as a Google Optimize, Optimizely, and VWO alternative aiming to improve website performance without impacting site speed. Axon, on the other hand, is a customer acquisition tool designed to bring new customers to the store by advertising within mobile games. It emphasizes ease of use and access to a large audience of mobile gamers. The fundamental difference lies in whether the merchant wants to improve existing traffic conversion (A/B testing) or acquire new customers (Axon).

Our Verdict
Choosing between A/B: Product and Price Testing and Axon depends entirely on the merchant's primary goal. If the goal is to improve the conversion rate of existing website traffic, A/B: Product and Price Testing, despite its worrying 0/5 rating, *potentially* offers a solution. However, the extremely low rating is a significant red flag. Axon is the clear choice for merchants actively looking to expand their customer base and explore mobile game advertising. The 5/5 rating (though from a small sample) suggests positive experiences, and the app's focus on ease of use and automated setup makes it an appealing option for merchants new to mobile advertising. Given the rating discrepancies, thorough due diligence is advised before investing in either app.
