A/B: Product and Price Testing vs Easyteam for Point of Salefor Shopify (2026)
A/B: Product and Price Testing and Easyteam for Point of Sale are both Shopify apps categorized under 'Operations' but serve drastically different purposes. A/B: Product and Price Testing aims to enhance website conversion rates and sales by facilitating A/B testing of product pages, pricing, copywriting, and other elements. It positions itself as a speed-conscious alternative to Google Optimize, Optimizely, VWO, and Omniconvert, targeting online stores focused on optimizing their digital storefront and maximizing traffic value through experimentation. Easyteam, on the other hand, is designed for Point of Sale (POS) retailers, offering a comprehensive staff management solution that covers scheduling, time tracking, commissions, payroll, and more. The key distinction lies in their target audience and functionality. A/B: Product and Price Testing is geared towards e-commerce businesses looking to optimize their online presence through data-driven testing, while Easyteam addresses the operational needs of brick-and-mortar stores or those with a strong POS component, specifically managing staff-related tasks. The apps share the 'Operations' category due to both aiming to improve efficiency, but one improves marketing ROI and the other improves employee management.

Our Verdict
For purely online Shopify stores aiming to boost sales through data-driven experimentation and A/B testing, A/B: Product and Price Testing seems promising, *if* it can overcome its current lack of positive reviews. However, the significantly lower number of reviews and zero rating compared to Easyteam, makes this app risky to use. Given that the purpose of an AB testing tool is to improve sales, it is not recommended at all. For merchants operating brick-and-mortar stores or those heavily reliant on Shopify POS, Easyteam is the clear winner. Its high rating, substantial review count, and POS-centric features make it the superior choice for managing staff, schedules, and commissions. Easyteam's focus on ease of use and live support further solidifies its position as the better option for POS retailers.
