ABConvert: A/B Testing vs Price List Pro ‑ products listfor Shopify (2026)
ABConvert: A/B Testing and Price List Pro ‑ products list, while both categorized under 'Pricing' and 'Pricing Optimization' on the Shopify App Store, cater to distinctly different merchant needs. ABConvert focuses on Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) through A/B testing various store elements like pricing, shipping, themes, and product content to identify optimal strategies for boosting profits and conversion rates. Its strength lies in its robust A/B testing capabilities and real-time analytics. Price List Pro, on the other hand, offers a way to create downloadable price lists (XLS or PDF) for customers, enabling single-page product discovery and offline access to product information. Price List Pro is ideal for merchants who require easily shareable and printable product catalogs, perhaps for B2B sales or customers who prefer offline browsing. It also shines for merchants who want to offer a quick product overview on a single page with download capability. ABConvert targets merchants looking to dynamically improve their online store's performance by rigorously testing changes and tracking real-time analytics. Their value propositions are different: ABConvert focuses on *optimizing* pricing and other store elements for online conversion, while Price List Pro focuses on *presenting* pricing information in a readily accessible and distributable format.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on data-driven optimization and A/B testing various aspects of their online store to improve conversion rates, ABConvert: A/B Testing is the clear choice. Its robust testing features and real-time analytics provide valuable insights for maximizing profits. However, if a merchant's main need is to create downloadable price lists in XLS or PDF format for easy sharing and offline access to product information, especially for B2B sales or offering quick overviews, Price List Pro ‑ products list is the more suitable option.
Ultimately, the best choice hinges on the specific needs and business model of the merchant. ABConvert is the tool for active experimentation and optimization, while Price List Pro is the tool for convenient price list generation and distribution.
