AC ‑ Questions & Answers vs Anywhere Custom Formsfor Shopify (2026)
AC ‑ Questions & Answers (Askify) and Anywhere Custom Forms both fall under the 'Forms' category on Shopify, but address entirely different needs and target distinct merchant types. Askify focuses on pre-sale customer engagement and trust-building by implementing a dedicated Q&A section on product pages. It provides features like AI-generated answers, multi-language support, and customizable styles. Conversely, Anywhere Custom Forms offers a generic custom form builder for various data collection purposes, relying on shortcodes for placement on the site. Askify's strength lies in its specialized focus on addressing customer doubts directly on product pages, aiming to improve conversion rates by increasing buyer confidence. It prioritizes ease of use with AI assistance and direct integration into the product browsing experience. Anywhere Custom Forms, on the other hand, offers greater flexibility in form creation and placement, allowing merchants to collect diverse data, but requires more manual configuration and doesn't offer the focused benefit of addressing pre-sale questions. The extremely low rating and lack of reviews for Anywhere Custom Forms compared to Askify's perfect rating and customer feedback raise serious concerns.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants primarily concerned with addressing customer questions and building trust to improve product page conversions, AC ‑ Questions & Answers (Askify) is the clear winner. Its AI features, direct product page integration, and positive reviews suggest a more effective and user-friendly solution for that specific purpose. The multi-language support is a significant plus for international businesses.
Anywhere Custom Forms might be considered only if a merchant has very specific and unique data collection requirements outside the realm of product-specific questions, and is comfortable with manual shortcode integration. However, the lack of reviews and zero rating should raise significant red flags. Given the current data, AC ‑ Questions & Answers is the far safer and more effective choice for most Shopify stores.
