AC ‑ Questions & Answers vs Formigo Custom Form Builderfor Shopify (2026)
AC - Questions & Answers (Askify) and Formigo Custom Form Builder represent different approaches to enhancing customer engagement on a Shopify store. Askify focuses specifically on addressing customer doubts and building trust through a dedicated Q&A system on product pages. It leverages AI, notifications, multi-language support, and customizable styling to provide a comprehensive solution for handling pre-purchase inquiries. Formigo, being a general form builder, offers broader capabilities for creating various types of forms, but lacks the specific Q&A focus and AI-powered features of Askify. Currently, Askify has a significant advantage in terms of social proof, with a perfect 5/5 rating based on 24 reviews. This suggests existing users are highly satisfied with its performance and functionality. Formigo, on the other hand, has no ratings or reviews, making it difficult to assess its quality or reliability. The key difference lies in their specialization: Askify is built for direct product page Q&A to convert sales, while Formigo targets broader form creation needs.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with directly addressing pre-purchase questions and building trust on product pages to increase sales, AC - Questions & Answers (Askify) is the clear choice. Its dedicated Q&A features, AI capabilities, and positive user reviews make it a compelling option. The lack of reviews for Formigo Custom Form Builder makes it a riskier choice for this specific use case, despite its potential broader application. However, if a merchant requires a versatile form builder for various data collection needs beyond just Q&A, Formigo might be worth exploring once it establishes a reputation and demonstrates reliability.
In 2026, with more data on Formigo, the landscape could change. But given the information available today, the focus on Q&A and the strong user feedback for Askify makes it the more sensible recommendation for a store specifically wanting to handle customer questions on their product pages.
