AC ‑ Questions & Answers vs Formpify ‑ Visual Form Builderfor Shopify (2026)
AC ‑ Questions & Answers and Formpify ‑ Visual Form Builder, while sharing the 'Forms' category on Shopify, serve fundamentally different purposes for merchants. AC ‑ Questions & Answers (Askify) focuses on enhancing product page engagement and building trust through a Q&A system, directly addressing customer uncertainties related to specific products. Its key strength lies in facilitating real-time interaction between customers, the store team, and previous buyers. This makes it ideally suited for stores selling products where potential customers commonly have pre-purchase questions about features, sizing, materials, or shipping. The AI-generated answer feature (presumably based on product descriptions and similar Q&As) also provides an extra layer of support. Formpify ‑ Visual Form Builder, on the other hand, is a general-purpose form creation tool. It empowers merchants to design and deploy a wide range of forms, from contact forms and feedback surveys to multi-step order forms. Its drag-and-drop interface and customizable templates make it a versatile solution for data collection and process automation. Formpify's strengths lie in its flexibility and ability to handle various form types. This makes it ideal for merchants who need to gather diverse information from customers or streamline internal workflows beyond just product-specific Q&A.

Our Verdict
For merchants struggling with pre-purchase questions on their product pages and looking to build trust and reduce cart abandonment, AC ‑ Questions & Answers (Askify) is the clear choice. Its AI-powered features and focus on product-specific Q&A offer a targeted solution. The higher review count also suggests wider adoption and potentially more robust support, despite the similarly high rating.
However, for merchants needing a versatile form builder to handle various data collection needs – such as customer surveys, contact forms, or complex application processes – Formpify ‑ Visual Form Builder is better suited. Its drag-and-drop interface and pre-designed templates provide the flexibility to create custom forms tailored to specific requirements. While it has fewer reviews, its feature set caters to broader form-related needs beyond product page Q&A.
Common Questions
