AC ‑ Questions & Answers vs Helium Customer Fieldsfor Shopify (2026)
AC ‑ Questions & Answers (Askify) and Helium Customer Fields, while both available in the Shopify app store as of 2026, address different merchant needs. Askify focuses on improving product page engagement and building customer trust by implementing a Q&A section, allowing potential buyers to clarify doubts directly on the product page. This addresses pre-purchase uncertainty and aims to convert hesitant visitors into customers. Its core strength lies in facilitating real-time communication and providing AI-generated answers, especially crucial for stores with complex products or frequent customer inquiries. Helium Customer Fields, categorized under 'Notifications' and 'Forms,' likely concentrates on collecting and managing customer data through customizable forms. This suggests its primary goal is enriching customer profiles for improved marketing, personalization, and order management. While not directly stated, its higher review count implies a broader applicability and possibly a more established user base than Askify. Therefore, Helium Customer Fields seems geared towards merchants seeking to enhance their customer data collection and management capabilities, whereas Askify is tailored for boosting product page conversions by directly addressing customer queries.

Our Verdict
For merchants struggling with abandoned carts due to unanswered product questions or looking to foster a sense of community and trust around their products, AC ‑ Questions & Answers (Askify) is the more appropriate choice. Its AI-driven answers and multi-language support address common barriers to purchase. The Q&A element boosts trust.
However, if the primary goal is to gather more comprehensive customer information for enhanced marketing segmentation, personalized experiences, and improved order management, Helium Customer Fields is likely the better solution. The significant difference in the number of reviews also suggests a more established and possibly more versatile platform, assuming the description accurately reflects its core capabilities. It depends on your specific business objectives and where you need the most support.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to install and configure?
Without direct experience or further information, it's impossible to definitively say. A smaller feature set (Askify) might suggest easier configuration initially, but it's specualtion.
Does Askify offer customer support beyond the Q&A functionality?
The description focuses solely on the Q&A feature. Additional customer support elements are not mentioned.
Can Helium Customer Fields be used to create a Q&A section on product pages?
Based on the description, Helium Customer Fields focuses on data collection. It's unlikely to directly facilitate a Q&A section like Askify.
Which app is better for a brand new Shopify store?
It depends on the immediate need. If product-related questions are already a frequent issue, Askify could be beneficial. If building a rich customer database is a priority, Helium Customer Fields may be more suitable.
Are there potential integrations between the two apps?
Without specific information, it's impossible to confirm. It depends on whether their APIs allow for data sharing, but it's unlikely they directly integrate without a third-party connector.
