AC ‑ Questions & Answers vs My File Fieldfor Shopify (2026)
AC ‑ Questions & Answers (Askify) and My File Field are both Shopify apps in the 'Forms' category, but they address fundamentally different needs within an e-commerce store. Askify aims to enhance product page engagement and build customer trust by enabling a Q&A section. It targets merchants who want to proactively address customer doubts about products and reduce purchase hesitation. In contrast, My File Field focuses on improving the functionality of the native Shopify contact form by adding file attachment capabilities. The key difference lies in their application. Askify is product-centric, aimed at boosting conversions by addressing customer questions directly on product pages. Its strength lies in its AI-powered answers, multilingual support, and customizable styles. My File Field, on the other hand, is customer service-oriented, allowing customers to easily send files with their inquiries. While both apps share a 5/5 rating, Askify has significantly more reviews, suggesting wider adoption or a longer presence in the app store.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with increasing product page conversion rates by proactively addressing customer questions, AC ‑ Questions & Answers (Askify) is the superior choice. Its AI-powered answers, multilingual support, and customizable Q&A styles offer a comprehensive solution for building trust and reducing purchase hesitation.
However, if a merchant's priority is to enhance their customer service workflow by enabling customers to easily send files with their inquiries via the contact form, My File Field is the more appropriate option. While its features are more limited, it directly addresses the specific need of file attachments in the contact form.
