AC ‑ Questions & Answers vs Trustoo Pop ups, Email Popupsfor Shopify (2026)
AC ‑ Questions & Answers (Askify) and Trustoo Pop ups, Email Popups (SendWILL) are both Shopify apps with 5-star ratings, but they target vastly different merchant needs. Askify focuses on enhancing product page engagement and building customer trust by implementing a Q&A section. It addresses pre-purchase uncertainty and aims to reduce customer churn by providing quick answers to product-specific questions. SendWILL, on the other hand, is a comprehensive email marketing and list-building platform. It aims to capture leads, automate email campaigns, and ultimately drive sales through various promotional and automated email strategies. The core distinction lies in their functionality: Askify focuses on immediate customer concerns on product pages, while SendWILL focuses on long-term customer relationship management through email. Askify builds trust and answers questions in real-time, directly impacting purchasing decisions at the product level. SendWILL uses email marketing tools to nurture leads, recover abandoned carts, and promote sales. Although both apps operate within the broader e-commerce ecosystem, their functionalities address different stages of the customer journey, making them suitable for different merchant priorities.

Our Verdict
For merchants struggling with unanswered product questions leading to abandoned carts, Askify is the clear choice. Its focus on immediate, relevant information on product pages directly addresses a specific pain point and builds trust. The AI-generated answers further streamline the process. If a merchant's primary focus is on growing their email list, automating email marketing campaigns, and driving sales through email channels, SendWILL (Ecomsend) is the more appropriate tool. It provides a comprehensive suite of email marketing features. Given the discrepancy in review counts, SendWILL is likely a more established product with a larger user base, which may provide more reliable insights for implementation.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Askify, with its focus on product page integration and AI-generated answers, is likely easier to set up. SendWILL, encompassing popups, email marketing, and automation, requires more configuration.
Can these apps be used together?
Yes, they can be used complementarily. Askify addresses immediate product questions, while SendWILL focuses on long-term customer relationship management through email marketing.
Which app is better for a small business?
It depends on the business's priorities. If product questions are a major issue, Askify is beneficial. If email marketing is central to their strategy, SendWILL is more suitable. Starting with Askify might be easier and more impactful for very small businesses.
Does either app integrate with other marketing tools?
SendWILL explicitly mentions integration with Klaviyo, Mailchimp, SMSBump, and Privy. Askify's description doesn't mention specific integrations, but given it focuses on Q&A on product pages, integrations are less crucial.
Which app has better customer support?
SendWILL advertises 24/7 support via chat or email. Askify does not mention its customer support options in the description, so SendWILL might be assumed to offer more comprehensive support.
