Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
AC: Sold Out Push Down & Hide is likely easier to set up due to its singular focus. Color Swatch King: Variants, with its numerous features, requires more configuration.
Can both apps work together on the same Shopify store?
Potentially, but there might be redundancy. Color Swatch King can hide out of stock variants, which overlaps with AC's functionality. Thorough testing is recommended to avoid conflicts.
Does AC: Sold Out Push Down & Hide impact SEO?
Hiding products *could* negatively impact SEO if products are never restocked. Pushing to the bottom is generally safer for SEO as the products remain accessible to search engines. But this app does not offer SEO specific features.
Is Color Swatch King: Variants suitable for stores with very few product variants?
While it can still be used, the benefits of Color Swatch King: Variants are most pronounced when there are multiple variants per product. Stores with few variants might not see a significant return on investment.
Which app provides better value for money?
The value depends on the merchant's needs. If the primary concern is simply managing out-of-stock visibility, AC might offer better value due to its focused functionality. If the merchant wants a broader solution to improve product presentation and conversion, Color Swatch King, due to its wider array of features, has more value.
