Our Verdict
The choice between Accessibility & ADA EAA WCAG and AgeX depends entirely on the merchant's specific needs and product offerings. If a merchant is selling products or services that are not age-sensitive, but wishes to improve the accessibility of their website for disabled users and comply with accessibility laws, Accessibility & ADA EAA WCAG is the clear choice. Its features directly address accessibility concerns and aim to provide a more inclusive user experience.
Conversely, if a merchant sells age-restricted products like alcohol, tobacco, or certain games, AgeX is essential. This app provides the necessary tools to verify customer age and prevent sales to underage individuals, helping the merchant comply with relevant regulations and avoid potential legal repercussions. Merchants needing both features would likely need to implement both apps, as they serve distinct and non-overlapping functions.
