Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing website accessibility and aiming for ADA, WCAG, or other compliance standards, Accessibility Assistant is the clear choice. Its comprehensive feature set, positive reviews, and easy setup make it a valuable asset for improving the user experience for individuals with disabilities. The lack of reviews for ARCS Checkout Control coupled with its limited feature set targeting a niche control flow, mean it would be a more risky bet without clear evidence it works as intended.
ARCS Checkout Control is suited for merchants needing fine-grained control over their checkout process. For example, they might need to prevent checkout if certain conditions aren't met or warn users about policy changes. However, its lack of reviews and specific focus narrow its application compared to the broader accessibility benefits of Accessibility Assistant.
