Account Blocks, Ui Extensions vs Ringly.io ‑ AI Phone Supportfor Shopify (2026)
Account Blocks, Ui Extensions and Ringly.io ‑ AI Phone Support both aim to improve the customer experience for Shopify merchants, but they do so in drastically different ways. Account Blocks focuses on enhancing the visual and functional aspects of key customer touchpoints like account pages, order details, checkout, and thank you pages by adding dynamic blocks and extensions. This allows merchants to provide more information, collect specific customer requests, and offer convenient support options directly within the store interface. It positions itself as a flexible tool for customizing the customer journey, particularly post-purchase. Ringly.io, on the other hand, tackles customer support from a purely functional perspective. It offers 24/7 AI-powered phone support to automate handling of common inquiries related to order tracking, returns, and FAQs. This frees up merchant support teams to focus on more complex issues. Ringly.io is designed for stores dealing with a high volume of phone inquiries and prioritizes efficiency and automation. While both apps have 5-star ratings and just one review, their contrasting feature sets clearly indicate distinct target audiences and use cases. The choice between these apps depends on the merchant's primary goal: enhanced on-site customer engagement versus automated phone support.
