ACOD: Cash On Delivery COD Fee vs Madgic Order COD Form & Upsellfor Shopify (2026)
ACOD: Cash On Delivery COD Fee and Madgic Order COD Form & Upsell both cater to Shopify merchants utilizing Cash on Delivery (COD). ACOD focuses primarily on implementing COD fees. Madgic Order COD Form & Upsell, on the other hand, positions itself as a comprehensive COD checkout solution, extending beyond basic fee implementation to include customizable forms, partial payments, abandoned cart recovery, and integrations with marketing pixels. This app appears aimed at merchants looking for advanced checkout flows to optimize their COD process. The key differentiator lies in the breadth of features. Our Verdict
For merchants requiring a straightforward solution solely for adding COD fees, ACOD: Cash On Delivery COD Fee is likely sufficient. Its simplicity will translate to faster setup and ease of use. However, if the goal is to optimize the COD checkout process, improve conversion rates, and leverage abandoned cart recovery, Madgic Order COD Form & Upsell offers a more comprehensive and potentially higher-impact solution.
Madgic is suited for merchants willing to invest time in customizing the checkout experience. Ultimately, choosing between the two depends on the specific needs and priorities of the Shopify merchant. If checkout optimization and increased sales are paramount, Madgic likely holds more value despite the smaller review count. Review count is less critical as both are highly rated.
