ACOD: Cash On Delivery COD Fee vs Releasit COD Form & Upsellsfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, both ACOD: Cash On Delivery COD Fee and Releasit COD Form & Upsells stand as highly-rated Cash on Delivery (COD) solutions for Shopify merchants, both boasting a 4.9/5 rating. However, Releasit COD Form & Upsells distinguishes itself through significantly higher adoption, evidenced by its vast number of reviews (1788) compared to ACOD's (35). This indicates a much larger user base and suggests wider industry recognition and potentially more extensive community support. ACOD: Cash On Delivery COD Fee, given its name, likely focuses on a straightforward implementation of COD fee management. This app probably targets smaller businesses or those seeking a simple, no-frills solution to manage COD charges. Releasit COD Form & Upsells, conversely, positions itself as a more comprehensive solution by incorporating form customization and upsell opportunities alongside core COD functionality. This indicates a target audience of merchants prioritizing conversion rate optimization and enhanced customer experience during the COD checkout process. The difference lies in scope: ACOD appears focused on the fee, while Releasit offers a suite of tools surrounding the COD order process. The substantial difference in review volume implies Releasit likely offers a wider feature set or better scalability that resonates with a larger segment of the Shopify market. Merchants considering these apps need to determine whether a simplified fee management approach (ACOD) or a comprehensive form and upsell system (Releasit) better aligns with their business objectives.
