ACS Courier Voucher vs BorderBuddy Customs ~Ship DDPfor Shopify (2026)
ACS Courier Voucher and BorderBuddy Customs ~Ship DDP, while both categorized as 'Shipping solutions - Other' in the Shopify app store, cater to dramatically different merchant needs and geographical regions. ACS Courier Voucher focuses on automating voucher creation and printing specifically for ACS Courier, a courier service operating in Greece. It streamlines the shipping process for merchants already using or intending to use ACS Courier within Greece, providing features like automated tracking link sending and daily pickup list generation. In contrast, BorderBuddy Customs ~Ship DDP is designed for merchants targeting the Canadian market and seeking to simplify the complexities of cross-border shipping. It offers Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) shipping, ensuring Canadian customers see all-in pricing at checkout and avoiding surprise customs fees upon delivery. The primary distinction lies in their target markets and the problems they solve. ACS Courier Voucher is a niche solution for Greek merchants using ACS Courier. BorderBuddy, on the other hand, is a more broadly applicable app for any Shopify merchant looking to expand into the Canadian market with transparent pricing and simplified customs procedures. BorderBuddy also boasts a significantly higher review count (14 versus 2), indicating greater user adoption and potentially more community support and reliability. Furthermore, BorderBuddy provides access to discounted UPS rates and generates commercial invoices, features entirely absent from the ACS Courier Voucher app's description.
