AddiFee vs ILS: Indian Logistics Servicesfor Shopify (2026)
AddiFee and ILS: Indian Logistics Services cater to vastly different needs within the Shopify ecosystem, despite sharing the 'Returns and warranty' category. AddiFee focuses on providing a seamless way for merchants to offer and manage shipping insurance fees directly within the cart and checkout process. Its strength lies in its dynamic fee calculation, multi-currency support, and easy customer opt-in options. It targets merchants looking to increase revenue and offer customers added protection against shipping losses. ILS, on the other hand, is a comprehensive logistics solution specifically designed for Indian merchants. It streamlines the entire shipping process with integrations to multiple Indian logistics providers, automated AWB generation, and return request management. ILS's strength is its wide range of integrations, which allows merchants to quickly start shipping with popular providers like Delhivery, Bluedart, DTDC, and IndiaPost. It further helps with order management by providing tools for generating shipping labels, invoices, and manifest. ILS targets merchants who need a complete solution for managing their shipping operations within India. The key difference is that AddiFee deals specifically with insurance and fees, while ILS manages the entire shipping and returns process in the Indian market.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking to offer shipping insurance as an added service and revenue stream, AddiFee appears to be the more relevant choice, *assuming* the app is developed well and becomes reliable (rating is currently 0/5). However, the lack of reviews and the absence of a rating make it a risky choice currently. Merchants who are selling internationally will want to confirm the app does not only support insurance options available in their region. ILS: Indian Logistics Services is designed specifically for Indian merchants needing comprehensive logistics support. It addresses the specific needs of the Indian market with integrations to local carriers and compliance with GST invoicing. Therefore, if you are an Indian merchant, ILS is probably the right choice. AddiFee's zero rating, however, is a red flag that should be taken seriously, and its future success can't be assumed.
Common Questions
Which app is better for international shipping?
ILS is focused on Indian logistics, therefore it would not be useful for international shipping outside of India. AddiFee may be used for international shipping insurance, but this needs to be verified, as the description does not explicitly state this.
Which app is better for generating invoices?
ILS: Indian Logistics Services includes GST-enabled invoice templates, whereas AddiFee does not mention any invoicing capabilities.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Based on the feature sets described, AddiFee likely has a simpler setup due to its singular focus on shipping insurance. However, the absence of reviews makes it impossible to determine whether it is reliable or well-designed. ILS would be more complicated to set up due to the need to connect to logistics providers.
Which app is cheaper?
Pricing information is not provided for either app. A price comparison is not possible.
Why does AddiFee have no rating and zero reviews in 2026?
Several possible reasons may explain this: the app may be newly released, it may have encountered technical issues preventing adoption, the developers may not have actively promoted it, or it may have received negative feedback leading to removal of previous reviews.
