Addify ‑ Approve New Customers vs C:Hub Customer Accountsfor Shopify (2026)
Addify ‑ Approve New Customers and C:Hub Customer Accounts both aim to enhance the customer account experience on Shopify, but they address vastly different needs. Addify focuses on controlling access to the store by enabling manual approval of new customer registrations and segmenting customers based on assigned tags. This is particularly useful for merchants running exclusive communities, B2B operations, or offering tiered access based on customer type. C:Hub Customer Accounts, on the other hand, is a comprehensive customer account management solution. It replaces the default Shopify customer accounts with a fully customizable experience, allowing customers to manage orders, profiles, and interact with the store in a more engaging way. Its strength lies in driving revenue and engagement through enhanced customer accounts with features such as reordering, order cancellation, and integration with other apps. It is built for merchants who want more control and flexibility in their customer account system, allowing them to create a branded and personalized experience.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants needing strict control over who gains access to their store, especially those with B2B operations or exclusive communities, Addify ‑ Approve New Customers is the more suitable choice. It allows for granular control over customer registration and segmentation, ensuring that only approved customers can access specific products or promotions.
However, if the goal is to enhance the overall customer account experience, improve customer engagement, and drive repeat purchases, C:Hub Customer Accounts is the better option. Its feature-rich platform offers a more comprehensive solution for managing customer accounts, providing a more personalized and engaging experience for shoppers.
