Addify ‑ Approve New Customers vs KwikPass: OTP‑login & Popupsfor Shopify (2026)
Addify ‑ Approve New Customers and KwikPass: OTP‑login & Popups both address Shopify accounts and logins but target fundamentally different aspects of the customer experience. Addify focuses on *controlling* account creation by enabling manual approval of new customer registrations, particularly for scenarios like B2B or wholesale businesses where specific customer types require validation. Its strength lies in creating exclusive communities and validating user types. KwikPass, on the other hand, is geared towards *optimizing* the login process and engaging visitors. It prioritizes quick and easy logins via OTP and leverages interactive popups to capture leads and incentivize purchases. The core difference lies in their primary focus. Addify prioritizes selective onboarding and customer segmentation, while KwikPass emphasizes streamlined access and conversion rate optimization. Addify appeals to merchants seeking control over who joins their customer base and needing to segment their customer base (like B2B/Wholesale businesses). KwikPass is ideal for merchants looking to reduce friction during login, identify anonymous visitors, and boost sales through engaging popups, especially those concerned with mobile usability and quick conversions.
