Addify ‑ Country Restrictions vs Payment Rules Hide PaymentHerofor Shopify (2026)
Addify ‑ Country Restrictions and Payment Rules Hide PaymentHero are both Shopify apps designed to optimize the checkout experience, but they address fundamentally different problems. Addify ‑ Country Restrictions focuses on managing product visibility based on geographic location, allowing merchants to hide entire products, prices, or the 'add to cart' button in specific countries where they are unavailable or restricted. This is crucial for international businesses navigating varying regulations and shipping limitations. Payment Rules Hide PaymentHero, on the other hand, concentrates on streamlining the payment process by enabling merchants to hide, sort, and rename payment methods to improve checkout conversion. The key difference lies in their target audience. Addify targets businesses selling internationally that need to manage product availability and compliance across different regions. Payment Rules Hide PaymentHero is geared towards any Shopify store seeking to improve its checkout conversion rate by optimizing the payment options presented to customers, ensuring they see the most relevant and preferred payment methods first. While both fall under the 'Checkout' category, their functionalities and the problems they solve are distinct.
