Addify ‑ Quick Buy Now Button vs XB: Cart Upsell Cart Drawerfor Shopify (2026)
Addify ‑ Quick Buy Now Button and XB: Cart Upsell Cart Drawer both fall under the 'Cart customization' category on Shopify, but they serve very different purposes and target distinct merchant needs. Addify focuses on streamlining the path to purchase by offering 'Buy Now' button customization with redirection options to cart, checkout, external marketplaces, or a popup. It aims to reduce friction in the buying process. XB: Cart Upsell Cart Drawer, on the other hand, aims to maximize revenue within the cart itself through AI-powered upsells, cart add-ons, free shipping incentives, and other features designed to increase average order value. XB: Cart Upsell Cart Drawer, however, is geared toward enhancing the cart experience itself to drive higher revenue per transaction. Our Verdict
Given the significantly higher rating and number of reviews, XB: Cart Upsell Cart Drawer appears to be the stronger option for merchants primarily focused on maximizing revenue within their existing Shopify store through intelligent upsells and cart enhancements. Its AI-powered features offer a compelling value proposition for stores seeking hands-off optimization.
Addify ‑ Quick Buy Now Button might be a suitable choice for a niche set of merchants who heavily rely on external marketplaces like Amazon or eBay, or those who need a very simple 'Buy Now' button for specific products or customer segments. However, the extremely low rating and lack of reviews should raise significant concerns and warrant thorough investigation before considering this app.
