Our Verdict
AddressHero is best suited for Shopify merchants of all sizes experiencing issues with incorrect delivery addresses, resulting in increased shipping costs and customer dissatisfaction. Its broad compatibility with various Shopify plans and express checkouts makes it a versatile solution. easyDPD, on the other hand, is ideal for merchants who heavily rely on DPD for their shipping needs and want a streamlined process for generating labels, tracking shipments, and managing returns. While AddressHero offers potentially wider appeal due to its universal problem-solving approach, easyDPD delivers significant value for DPD-centric operations, despite its lower rating and review count.
Common Questions
Does AddressHero only work for addresses in a specific country?
The app description does not specify geographic limitations. It focuses on address validation and correction, suggesting it's designed to work with a variety of address formats.
Can easyDPD be used if I use multiple shipping carriers besides DPD?
The description focuses solely on DPD shipping. It does not state that it supports other carriers.
Is AddressHero PCI compliant, handling sensitive customer data?
The provided app information doesn't address PCI compliance directly. It focuses on validating the address itself and blocking bad addresses, not necessarily handling sensitive payment information. Further research may be needed to confirm full PCI compliance.
Does easyDPD integrate with Shopify's shipping rates calculation?
The description focuses on label generation and tracking. It doesn't mention integration with Shopify's rate calculations, suggesting it might handle shipping cost outside of Shopify's native system. It could infer that the Rule engine assists in selecting DPD shipping options and pricing, but does not necessarily modify Shopify rates.
