Addresyo Lock vs CartSaver: Persistent Cartfor Shopify (2026)
Addresyo Lock and CartSaver: Persistent Cart, while both falling under the 'Customer Loyalty' category on Shopify, address fundamentally different aspects of the customer experience. Addresyo Lock focuses on the backend order processing, specifically ensuring that a customer's default address is not inadvertently changed to the shipping address during checkout. This is a very niche application, aimed at merchants with specific shipping or billing requirements where address consistency is paramount. CartSaver: Persistent Cart, on the other hand, aims to improve customer retention and reduce cart abandonment by saving and restoring cart contents across devices and sessions. The key difference lies in their target audience and value proposition. Addresyo Lock caters to merchants who prioritize order accuracy and data integrity regarding customer addresses. CartSaver: Persistent Cart is designed for merchants looking to enhance the overall shopping experience, reduce cart abandonment, and increase customer convenience. While Addresyo Lock operates silently in the background, CartSaver actively engages with the customer through popups and cart restoration features.

Our Verdict
For merchants experiencing issues with customer addresses being inadvertently changed during checkout, leading to fulfillment errors or customer confusion, Addresyo Lock is the clear choice. It provides a focused solution to a specific problem. Its integration with Shopify Flow suggests ease of use for those already familiar with that platform. However, the lack of reviews beyond the initial three should be considered. For the vast majority of merchants struggling with cart abandonment and seeking to enhance the overall customer shopping experience, CartSaver: Persistent Cart is the more compelling option. It addresses a more widespread challenge and offers features like cross-device cart syncing and customizable popups to improve conversion rates. Though it currently has no reviews, the potential benefits of reducing cart abandonment are significant.
