Our Verdict
EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift is the clear choice for merchants explicitly seeking to implement automated free gift promotions, BOGO offers, and cart upsells. Its detailed features and substantial number of positive reviews indicate a well-established and effective solution. Given the lack of specific information about Addributes, it is difficult to recommend it for any particular use case. If a merchant needs checkout form field customization, Addributes *might* be helpful, however, without further information about its functionality, a safer alternative may be a well-known and reputable app that explicitly advertises this feature.
For the average Shopify merchant looking to grow sales via automated promotions, EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift provides significantly more value, based on the available data. Addributes is too ambiguous to recommend without more specifics.
