Admin Shortcuts vs BIG Digital Downloads Productsfor Shopify (2026)
Admin Shortcuts, with a perfect 5/5 rating based on 8 reviews, focuses on streamlining administrative tasks within the Shopify backend. Due to the limited data on this app, its precise functionalities and target audience are difficult to define. In contrast, BIG Digital Downloads Products, also boasting a 5/5 rating but with a substantial 600 reviews, is specifically designed for merchants selling digital products like ebooks, software licenses, and other digital files. It provides features for secure file delivery, license key management, and download limitations, positioning itself as an alternative to services like WeTransfer, Google Drive, and Etsy for digital product sales. Our Verdict
BIG Digital Downloads Products is clearly the superior choice for any merchant looking to sell digital products on Shopify. Its features are specifically tailored to this purpose, and the high review count suggests a reliable and well-tested app. Admin Shortcuts, while potentially useful, lacks the specific features and demonstrable user base to compete with BIG Digital Downloads Products in the digital product sales domain.
For merchants who want to improve the daily efficiency of their Shopify admin panel, the Admin Shortcuts *might* be helpful. However, without further data on the app's functions it is difficult to make any firm conclusions. BIG Digital Downloads Products is a much safer bet for any store specializing in, or wishing to include, digital product offerings.
