Admitad Tracking (Affiliate) vs Rave: Referral, Affiliate, UGCfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, Admitad Tracking (Affiliate) and Rave: Referral, Affiliate, UGC offer distinct approaches to leveraging affiliate marketing on Shopify. Admitad focuses solely on technical tracking for merchants already integrated with the Admitad affiliate network. Its primary strength lies in its claimed real-time data and comprehensive tracking capabilities (link, coupon, S2S) specifically for Admitad campaigns. Conversely, Rave presents a broader, more holistic platform designed to build and manage referral, affiliate, and UGC programs from the ground up. Rave differentiates itself through its incentive structures (cash and free items), gamified campaigns, and integrated touchpoints across the customer journey. It also offers end-to-end UGC management, which Admitad does not. Rave targets merchants seeking an all-in-one solution for building and managing diverse referral, affiliate and UGC programs, while Admitad is aimed solely at existing Admitad network users seeking an easy tracking integration.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants already active within the Admitad affiliate network and needing only a simple tracking integration, Admitad Tracking (Affiliate) offers a quick solution. However, the lack of reviews is a significant concern. If a merchant is building a referral or affiliate program from scratch, or wants to incorporate UGC and a wider range of incentives, Rave: Referral, Affiliate, UGC is the more comprehensive choice, despite the need to evaluate the specific implementation of their claimed 'simple configuration'.
Given the lack of reviews for Admitad and Rave's broader feature set for program creation and management, Rave is the slightly more compelling choice for a majority of Shopify merchants seeking to grow through referrals and affiliates.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Based on their descriptions, both apps claim to be easy to set up. Admitad claims a "quick" integration, while Rave states "simple configuration". However, without user reviews for Admitad, Rave's claim is slightly more credible.
Which app is better for existing Admitad users?
Admitad Tracking (Affiliate) is specifically designed for existing Admitad users looking to integrate tracking into their Shopify store.
Which app offers more features beyond affiliate tracking?
Rave provides additional features such as referral program management, UGC collection, and various incentive structures beyond basic affiliate tracking, which Admitad lacks.
Which app is more likely to generate customer excitement?
Rave, with its cash rewards, free gifts, and gamified incentives, is more likely to generate customer excitement and encourage sharing compared to Admitad's purely tracking-focused approach.
Is either app suitable for complete beginners to affiliate marketing?
While Admitad facilitates tracking within the Admitad network, it doesn't guide the creation of the affiliate program itself. Rave, with its program management features, appears to be more helpful for beginners in creating and launching an affiliate or referral program, despite assuming some base level of understanding of affiliate marketing.
