Adoric Popup & Email Popups vs Afluencer Influencer Collabsfor Shopify (2026)
Adoric Popup & Email Popups and Afluencer Influencer Collabs are two Shopify apps addressing vastly different aspects of e-commerce growth. Adoric focuses on on-site conversion rate optimization through pop-ups, email capture, and upselling strategies. It targets merchants looking to directly influence customer behavior on their website to increase sales and average order value (AOV). Key features include exit-intent pop-ups, email forms, and cart recommendations. Afluencer, conversely, connects merchants with social media influencers to drive traffic and sales through influencer marketing campaigns. Its target audience is businesses seeking to leverage social proof and reach new audiences via external channels like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. The primary difference lies in their approach to driving growth. Adoric works by optimizing the existing website traffic and improving conversions within the store. Afluencer focuses on acquiring new traffic and building brand awareness through influencer collaborations. While both aim to increase sales, Adoric offers immediate on-site improvements, while Afluencer provides a more indirect, long-term marketing strategy. Both apps are in the 'Discounts' Shopify category, likely because coupon pop-ups are a popular feature in Adoric, and discounted products are commonly promoted by influencers in Afluencer.

Our Verdict
Adoric Popup & Email Popups is ideal for merchants looking to immediately impact their on-site conversion rates and AOV. Its easy-to-use interface and pre-built templates make it suitable for stores of all sizes, especially those focused on direct sales. If you want immediate results and control over the on-site experience, Adoric is the better choice.
Afluencer Influencer Collabs, on the other hand, is best suited for businesses with a strong social media presence (or a desire to build one) and the resources to manage influencer relationships. It's a valuable tool for expanding brand awareness and reaching new customer segments. However, the results are less immediate and rely on the effectiveness of the chosen influencers.
Common Questions
Which app is better for a new Shopify store?
Adoric might be more beneficial initially, as it can help improve conversion rates from existing (even if low) traffic. Influencer marketing with Afluencer is often more effective after a store has established some brand identity and product appeal.
Is one app more expensive than the other?
The provided data doesn't include pricing. You would need to check the Shopify App Store for the current pricing models of each app.
Can these apps be used together?
Yes, they can complement each other. Afluencer can drive traffic to the store, and Adoric can help convert that traffic into sales. Using both creates a synergistic effect.
How much time does it take to set up a campaign with each app?
Adoric claims a set up time of 'a minute', suggesting a quicker initial setup. Afluencer requires time to review influencer applications and coordinate campaigns, making the initial setup likely more time-consuming.
Which app is better for seasonal promotions like Black Friday/Cyber Monday (BFCM)?
Adoric highlights its suitability for BFCM with its headline. The ability to quickly create discount pop-ups and leverage exit-intent offers makes it very valuable for the high-traffic BFCM period. Afluencer can also be used to promote BFCM deals, but requires advance planning to coordinate influencer campaigns.
