Our Verdict
The choice between Adoric Popup & Email Popups and Blockify Age Verification 18+ depends heavily on the merchant's specific needs. If your priority is growing your email list, increasing average order value through upsells and cross-sells, and boosting sales during peak seasons like BFCM, Adoric is the clear winner. Its focus on marketing-driven pop-ups and easy customization makes it a powerful tool for conversion optimization.
However, if you sell products with age restrictions (alcohol, tobacco, etc.), Blockify is essential. Its age verification pop-up functionality is critical for legal compliance and protecting your business from potential penalties. While both apps use pop-ups, their intended purposes and target audiences are entirely distinct. Blockify is a non-negotiable requirement for certain types of businesses, whereas Adoric is a valuable, but optional, marketing tool for most merchants.
