Adoric Popup & Email Popups vs COD Form & Upsell ‑ CodMonsterfor Shopify (2026)
Adoric Popup & Email Popups and COD Form & Upsell - CodMonster, while both falling under the 'Notifications' category on Shopify, cater to vastly different merchant needs. Adoric focuses on general marketing automation and engagement through popups, email collection, and promotional offers like spin-the-wheel, cart upsells, and cross-sells. It positions itself as easy to use, offering ready-to-use widgets and automated strategies designed to increase AOV and collect email addresses. CodMonster, on the other hand, is specifically geared towards merchants utilizing Cash on Delivery (COD) payment methods. It prioritizes streamlining the COD order process, offering customizable 1-click order forms, upsells, and cross-sells within that specific checkout flow, and providing advanced tracking for ad performance. The core difference lies in their target audience and primary function. Adoric is a broader marketing tool suitable for any Shopify store looking to improve customer engagement and increase sales through various popup-based strategies. CodMonster is a niche solution tailored for COD businesses aiming to optimize their order process, increase AOV within the COD framework, and track the performance of their advertising efforts related to COD sales. While Adoric boasts significantly more reviews and a higher rating, CodMonster offers specialized features crucial for businesses heavily reliant on COD payments, such as Google Sheets integration for order management and order limit restrictions by country.

Our Verdict
For general Shopify stores seeking to enhance their marketing efforts through popups, email collection, and various promotional offers, Adoric Popup & Email Popups is the stronger choice due to its high rating and substantial user base. Its ready-to-use widgets and automated strategies offer a quick and easy way to engage customers and increase AOV. However, if a store's primary business model revolves around Cash on Delivery payments, CodMonster is the clear winner. Its specialized features like customizable COD forms, multi-pixel tracking, and Google Sheets integration are essential for optimizing the COD order process and tracking ad performance specific to COD sales. While its rating and reviews are lower, its niche functionality directly addresses the needs of COD-focused businesses.
