Adoric Popup & Email Popups vs EG Auto Add to Cart Free Giftfor Shopify (2026)
Adoric Popup & Email Popups and EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift both aim to increase sales for Shopify merchants, but they approach the problem from different angles. Adoric focuses on capturing customer attention and email addresses through popups, offering a range of interactive elements like spin-the-wheel and exit-intent offers. It targets merchants looking to grow their email list, reduce cart abandonment, and increase average order value (AOV) with dynamic offers shown at various stages of the customer journey. EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift, on the other hand, directly incentivizes purchases by automatically adding free gifts or product add-ons to the cart based on predefined rules, specializing in BOGO and Buy X Get Y promotions. The key distinction lies in their core strategies. Adoric enhances the customer experience by delivering targeted messages and offers through popups, requiring more design and strategic input from the merchant. EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift automates incentives based on cart conditions, making it ideal for merchants seeking hands-off upsell and cross-sell opportunities. While both fall under the 'Discounts' category, their execution and intended outcomes are significantly different. Merchants should consider which approach aligns best with their marketing strategy and target audience.
