Adoric Popup & Email Popups vs FAD Auto Discountfor Shopify (2026)
Adoric Popup & Email Popups and FAD Auto Discount both aim to increase sales and AOV for Shopify merchants, but they approach this goal from different angles. Adoric focuses on using popups for email collection, cross-selling, upselling, and gamified promotions like spin-the-wheel. Its strength lies in engaging customers directly on the page with various incentives displayed in non-interruptive ways. It targets merchants who want to actively interact with customers browsing their store. FAD Auto Discount, on the other hand, concentrates on offering volume discounts, quantity breaks, BOGO deals, and free gifts to incentivize larger purchases. It emphasizes automated discounts and offers that work behind the scenes, directly influencing cart value without requiring active customer interaction beyond product page displays. It's geared towards merchants, including those in the B2B wholesale space, who want to offer discounts based on quantity or cart value without complex manual configurations. Both apps claim 5/5 ratings, but Adoric has significantly more reviews, suggesting wider adoption. The main difference lies in *how* they drive AOV. Adoric uses engaging pop-ups and interactive elements, while FAD Auto Discount relies on automated, cart-based and product-based discounts.
