Adoric Popup & Email Popups vs OPH: Open & Close Hoursfor Shopify (2026)
Adoric Popup & Email Popups and OPH: Open & Close Hours are both Shopify apps focused on pop-up functionality, but cater to drastically different merchant needs. Adoric focuses on boosting sales and email acquisition through a variety of pop-up types like welcome popups, exit-intent popups, and upsell offers. Its strength lies in its comprehensive feature set designed to drive conversion rates and increase average order value (AOV). It boasts a significant number of reviews, indicating a larger user base and established reputation. OPH: Open & Close Hours, on the other hand, addresses a specific operational need: clearly communicating store hours and temporary closures to customers. It's tailored for businesses with variable hours, such as restaurants and cafes, aiming to manage customer expectations and prevent unwanted orders during off-hours. While it shares the pop-up delivery method, its primary function is informational rather than promotional. The limited number of reviews suggests it might be a newer or niche app.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with boosting sales, increasing AOV, and growing their email list, Adoric Popup & Email Popups is the clear choice. Its robust feature set and established user base make it a strong contender in the conversion optimization space. However, if a merchant's primary need is to effectively communicate their store's opening hours, manage temporary closures, and prevent orders during those times (particularly relevant for restaurants or businesses with fluctuating schedules), OPH: Open & Close Hours is the more suitable solution. Its specialized functionality addresses this specific need effectively.
