Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing email list growth, on-site engagement, and personalized pop-up experiences, Adoric Popup & Email Popups is the better choice. Its ready-to-use widgets and smart strategies make it easier to implement various marketing tactics. However, if a merchant's primary focus is on managing and automating sales, scheduling discounts, and implementing sophisticated pricing strategies across a large catalog of products, Rockit Discounts & Sales App is more suitable. Its bulk editing and sales scheduling features offer greater control and efficiency in running complex promotional campaigns.
Ultimately, the best app depends on the specific needs and priorities of the merchant. If both functionalities are desired, the merchant might consider integrating both apps. However, if budget constraints exist, choose the app that aligns with the most critical aspect of the sales strategy (customer engagement via popups vs automated sales management).
Common Questions
Which app is better for increasing Average Order Value (AOV)?
Both apps can increase AOV, but they do so differently. Adoric uses popups with cart upsells and cross-sells to encourage shoppers to add more items. Rockit can increase AOV by creating a sense of urgency with flash sales and limited-time offers, prompting customers to purchase more items before the sale ends.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Adoric likely has a lower learning curve due to its ready-to-use popup widgets and automated strategies. Rockit requires more configuration to set up sales schedules, bulk price changes, and discount rules, which might take longer to master.
Can both apps be used together on the same Shopify store?
Yes, it is technically possible to use both apps together. However, merchants should carefully consider how the popups from Adoric interact with the sales promotions from Rockit to avoid overwhelming customers or creating a confusing shopping experience.
Which app is more effective for acquiring new email subscribers?
Adoric is specifically designed for email list growth with its welcome newsletter popups and exit-intent email popups. Rockit does not directly offer email capture functionality.
Which app is better for running flash sales?
Rockit Discounts & Sales App is explicitly designed for running flash sales with its sales manager, bulk price editor, and sales countdown features. While Adoric could potentially promote a flash sale within a popup, Rockit provides a more comprehensive solution for managing the entire sales process.
