Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a comprehensive affiliate marketing solution, particularly those already utilizing the Adtraction platform, Adtraction ‑ Partner Marketing is the logical choice. It integrates directly with Adtraction's extensive network and allows for commission-based sales tracking. However, the lack of reviews should be a major consideration. On the other hand, IGF ‑ Influencer Gift Form is ideal for merchants prioritizing influencer gifting and product seeding. Its strength lies in its ability to simplify and automate the process of sending free products, managing influencer information, and tracking orders directly within Shopify. The significantly higher rating and review count of IGF suggest a more user-friendly and reliable experience for its specific use case.
Common Questions
Do I need an existing account to use either app?
Adtraction ‑ Partner Marketing requires an existing Adtraction advertiser account. IGF ‑ Influencer Gift Form does not explicitly state such a requirement, suggesting it can be used independently within Shopify.
Which app is better for tracking ROI?
Adtraction ‑ Partner Marketing is designed for tracking ROI, as it enables commission-based payments linked to confirmed sales through its network. IGF ‑ Influencer Gift Form focuses more on the logistics of gifting rather than direct ROI tracking.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Based on the descriptions and reviews (or lack thereof), IGF ‑ Influencer Gift Form appears to be simpler to use, focusing on generating a single link for influencer checkout. Adtraction requires understanding and navigating the Adtraction platform, which may have a steeper learning curve.
Can I use both apps together?
While theoretically possible, using both apps together would likely result in redundancy. Adtraction aims to encompass a broader affiliate marketing strategy while IGF focuses specifically on product seeding. It would depend on your marketing strategy and whether you need separate tracking for gifting vs. affiliate generated sales.
Which app is better for small businesses?
IGF ‑ Influencer Gift Form is likely better for small businesses just starting with influencer marketing due to its ease of use and focus on product seeding. Adtraction might be more suited for larger businesses with established marketing teams and budgets that can handle a more complex affiliate marketing program.
