Advanced Wholesale/Discounts vs FFOrder Dropshippingfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, Advanced Wholesale/Discounts and FFOrder Dropshipping serve distinct needs within the Shopify ecosystem, despite sharing the 'Wholesale' category. Advanced Wholesale/Discounts likely focuses on enabling volume-based pricing strategies within a merchant's existing business. With a much lower rating (3.7/5) and significantly fewer reviews (12) compared to FFOrder, it's positioned as a more basic, potentially simpler solution. Its primary strength likely lies in providing a straightforward mechanism for offering wholesale discounts. FFOrder Dropshipping, on the other hand, positions itself as a comprehensive supply chain partner, especially for merchants interested in dropshipping or scaling their existing operations with outsourced fulfillment. Boasting a perfect 5/5 rating with a substantial 163 reviews, it emphasizes global fulfillment, quality control, branding, and dedicated account management. FFOrder's target audience appears to be sellers looking for end-to-end supply chain management, particularly those seeking direct factory access in China and branded fulfillment options. This broader feature set likely corresponds to a more involved and potentially more complex setup compared to Advanced Wholesale/Discounts. The core difference lies in scope: Advanced Wholesale/Discounts is a tool for managing pricing tiers, while FFOrder Dropshipping is an outsourcing solution for supply chain and order fulfillment.

Our Verdict
For merchants solely focused on providing simple wholesale discounts on existing products and managing their own fulfillment, Advanced Wholesale/Discounts *might* suffice. However, the significantly lower rating and number of reviews raise concerns about its reliability and feature set. It might be adequate for the most basic needs, but merchants should proceed with caution and thoroughly test the app.
FFOrder Dropshipping is the clear choice for merchants seeking a comprehensive dropshipping and fulfillment solution, particularly those aiming to scale globally and wanting support for branding and quality control. The high rating and substantial review count suggest a more robust and reliable platform. While it likely involves a greater level of integration and setup, the value proposition of a dedicated supply chain team and direct factory access offers considerable advantages for serious e-commerce businesses.
