Adwisely—Google Ads & Meta Ads vs Peel: Retention Analyticsfor Shopify (2026)
Adwisely—Google Ads & Meta Ads and Peel: Retention Analytics are both Shopify apps listed under the 'Ads' category, but they serve fundamentally different purposes. Adwisely focuses on driving new sales and conversions through AI-powered advertising on Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram). It aims to simplify ad management, particularly for merchants lacking deep marketing expertise, by automating optimization and offering personalized support. Its strength lies in streamlining ad creation and management with AI and expert assistance to maximize return on ad spend (ROAS). Peel, on the other hand, is a retention analytics platform designed to provide merchants with deep insights into customer behavior, lifetime value (LTV), churn, and subscription growth. It transforms raw Shopify data into actionable intelligence, helping brands understand repeat purchase patterns, customer segmentation (RFM), and product performance. While Adwisely seeks to acquire new customers efficiently, Peel focuses on maximizing the value of existing customers through enhanced retention strategies. This makes Peel ideal for businesses looking to improve long-term profitability through data-driven retention efforts.
